Another book!
I got roped into writing another book, this time for Jettelly on developing tools for Blender.
The task was 200 pages on panels, gizmos and Qt but somehow it got away on me and is nearly 500 pages now…
But, that means you get a lot more content for the same price.
The book is finished pending editor review so you can currently preorder for a discount here:

In the book “Blender Tool Development Fundamentals” we show how to create your own tools in Blender across three parts.
• Part 1 covers setting up your development environment, getting started with Blender API and understanding how Blender works with data, properties and operators and how to create your own addons/extensions.
• Part 2 covers operators in depth, custom UI panels, menus and optional Qt/PySide integration. Ending with the “3D Cursor Bookmarks” practical project.
• Part 3 covers viewport interaction with drawing overrides and gizmos including geometry node workflows. Ending with the “Live Animation Path Gizmo” practical project.
